So just what have we got for our £16 million? Yet another whitewash.

I said this from the start; even before BMW sold Rover, the moment this Liebore government got involved with a bunch of their cronies, I knew Rover was about to see the lid of their coffin. And true to form, it did.
The Phoenix 4 were nothing but capitalist making a quick buck in my view. Rover also sealed its fate because it did not want to change its ways. BMW should have first sacked all the top managers when they bought Rover but because the news papers here were making a big thing about a German company buying a British one, BMW failed to do that.
One of the reasons behind Rovers demise is that the cars were old designs and basically not up to today's standard. It was the fault of the consortium that no new models were designed. The company had already been stitched up by BMW, who cherry picked the best products from the company portfolio (such as the new Mini) and left the "rubbish" behind. If Alchemy had taken over the company there would have been exciting new niche cars produced by the factory and, although many jobs would have still gone maybe a couple of thousand would have been saved and the business could have grown with time. But then that can't be seen to happen under Liebore now, can it?
Trying to make a proper car while the rest of the workforce is against change is like trying to get yellow streak Gordon Brown to admit his failures as chancellor and PM.
What else do you expect from Liebore? They rushed in with the £6 million of our money so say to save MG Rover but all they were doing was to save themselves electoral defeat in the West Midlands in the general election in 2005. Like all things they rush into, it was bound to end in disaster, such as the human rights act which seems to only help criminals and the 10% basic rate of tax which punished the worst off.
Nothing they do appears to be thought through and now we have 6000 people out of a job, at least £22 million of taxpayers money wasted and 5 people counting their money. Is this what Liebore mean when they suggest they are caring?
Why also did snake Mandelson (of all people) call the Serious Fraud Office in to investigate somebody else? This barmy Liebore loony bandwagon gets barmier by the minute.
We are used to a raving lunacy a day, the Independent Safeguarding Authority persecuting parents, with ours (and their) money, being the latest. But snake Mandelson calling the Serious Fraud Office? For sheer cheek that takes some beating. Maybe he just enjoys having a really good laugh once in a while.

Brown did this to get positive headlines and has once again shown to the UK what a total disgrace of a man he is.

It is deeply disturbing that yet another British soldier and an innocent Afghan's have lost their lives in such circumstances.
But this is war.

In war all sorts of people die - soldiers, airmen and civilians.
What do you want to do? Of course the Para that went in on that operation was brave, and got a special mention from yellow streak Brown. But yellow streak Brown should not single out one soldier for special mention just because he authorised the raid. All those who took part in the raid were brave, and all the forces in Afghanistan (and elsewhere) are brave, and, as most readily admit, frightened, as the death toll mounts.

Well done, England!

Great performance. When you beat a side as good as Croatia 5-1 in a competitive match, the world sits up and takes notice.
Let's not get carried away though. No European team has ever won the World Cup when it has been played outside Europe, and both Brazil and Spain are in cracking form.
The Spanish have Villa and Torres up front. The English have Rooney and Heskey. The semi finals would still be an excellent achievement. That said, the Spanish ended a 44 year wait to win their second European Championships in 2008. Let's hope England can end a 44 year wait for that second World Cup in 2010.
Poor old Scotland! Never mind lads; I'm pretty sure that you can cheer on England when the World Cup's on TV next summer and Gordon Brown's back home licking his wounds.

With yellow streak Brown and Liebore at the helm, stand by for a double-dip recession .

The British economy is being driven by government spending and employment when this comes to an end we will see whether we are out of a recession.
It must be nice to get paid to write drivel about the UK economy coming out of recession after a quarter growth of o.2%; how many BILLIONS of pounds have the Bank of England printed in the same period!
Of course its getting better for the moment; we have our industry coming back, our people are well educated and we have ideas that are about to change the world. Maybe in 20 years time when we have really learnt and then maybe then the real recovery will start so that is something to ponder on.
The recession will be over when all Britons who want to work have a job; that the £ is worth 1.3 euros and I will be receiving 5% on my savings.

I'm sure Rothschild will oblige and lend us money if we take in more immigrants.

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws."
Mayer Amschel Rothschild.

The Labour Government has utterly bankrupted Britain. This country’s national debt is set to rocket to £2.5 trillion (£2,500,000,000,000), some £1 trillion more than the Gross Domestic Product of £1.4 trillion (£1,430,650,000,000).
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), “ordinary” Government debt is to top £1 trillion before the end of this year. However, this figure does not taken into account the minimum £1.5 trillion burden inflicted on the public purse by the bank bailouts.
The ONS is set to release its final figures later this month. In February, that body said that saving Lloyds and RBS alone added £1.5 trillion to the UK’s national debt. The final figure is therefore likely to be even higher.
According to the ONS, public sector net debt, expressed as a percentage of the GDP, was 56.8 percent (£800.8 billion) at the end of July 2009, compared with 43.5 percent at the end of July 2008 (£627.2 billion).
Well if we are to believe these figures Britain is bankrupt, our assets have been sold to generally the lowest bidder, our gold stocks were sold when the price of gold was at an all time low. Our utilities are owned by Johny foreigner (EDF), our cars are French, German, American or Japanese. The Midland bank is now the Hang Seng Bank of China, we import milk and pork and drive our farming industries into the ground and welfare rules drive them out of business that other countries ignore or don't have to conform to (corn beef from Argentina!) Our aircraft are French or American, our top football teams are owned by the Russians, Americans, Arabs and the England Manager is Italian.
There are a lot of our politicians who ought to be serving long prison sentences for the problems they have brought upon this country. They are desperately trying to cover up the mess but the truth will out. If they were subject to the rules applicable to business they would not see the light of day for a very long time. I hope that they will keep this in mind for the time when the truth is revealed.
Do you remember when we used to be called 'GREAT BRITAIN'

Lacklustre, dour and depressing. My words exactly !

Barack Obama found yellow streak Gordon Brown 'lacklustre' and 'depressing' to be around when he first met the Prime Minister, according to a new biography. A British reporter who enjoyed unparalleled access to the U.S. President during his historic election campaign said Mr Obama and his aides detected 'an end of regime feel' when he first met Mr yellow streak Brown in July last year.
Newsweek journalist Richard Wolffe revealed the future president was much more impressed with Tory leader David Cameron's 'verve and dynamism' during his trip to London.
The embarrassing revelations come amid renewed claims in Westminster that Mr yellow streak Brown will face a fresh leadership crisis this autumn.
Liebore backbenchers who share the views of the senior White House officials say they are looking for ways of forcing him out in October, after Liebore's party conference.
Forget thinking yellow streak Brown will step aside or do the decent thing. He won't quit, he is stubborn, he has Hitlers mentality of 'knowing best' and fighting on until the Russians are just yards away.
He also wants like all the crooked MP's to hang on so as his gold-plated pension and PM's severance pay will kick in next June. If his party try to oust him, he will threaten them with an instant dissolution of parliament which would lose them even more seats and cut their severance and pensions too. So no, we are stuck with the control freak who is stuck at the political gambling table until June hoping for one more streak of luck that might change his fortune or until our money runs out and then he will be kicked out and we are swamped in all his debts!
