Yellow streak Gordon Brown sought yesterday to limit the damage caused by the disclosure that he had told victims of the IRA that it was not “appropriate” for him to help them to seek compensation from Libya. Now the yellow streak Prime Minister insisted that he cared “enormously” about victims and would provide government assistance in seeking direct talks with Colonel Gaddafi. This U-turn comes only after today's reports that yellow streak Gordon Brown was personally involved in a decision not to engage Libya on this issue. The British government should have provided active support as a matter of course, not as a result of public pressure. But yellow streak Gordon Brown and the government he leads have long lost their moral compass and this is just another example of the disastrous mess and muddle in which they find themselves on the Megrahi affair.
I wonder what the yellow streak G-Force was rated at in that turn-around. This morning the yellow streak was strictly against pressing Libya on anything remotely to do with taxing Colonel Gadaffi with anything to do with semtex and Northern Ireland. Now, barely 12 hours later, he is all for assistance. Just what is going on here?
Leaders are there to LEAD. They are not there to test the waters and then do what they think is politically correct.
Mr yellow streak Brown is a spineless politician, there only to feather his own and his discredited government's nest.
This is duplicity of the greatest order. Mr yellow streak Brown ... please GO but before you do call a referendum for the Lisbon Treaty!

Will We have to extradite Brown to the US over this?

Jack Straw, the Justice Secretary, broke ranks and admitted publicly for the first time that trade and oil agreements were an essential part of the British Government’s decision to include Megrahi in the PTA with Libya. Megrahi, the only man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing of December 1988 which killed 270 people, was freed on Aug 20. His release and the jubilant scenes in Tripoli, the Libyan capital, when he returned prompted an international outcry.
The Scottish and British governments actively assisted Megrahi and his legal team to seek a release on compassionate grounds even though the thrust of talks before July this year had been over his release as part of a Prisoner Transfer Agreement (PTA) between Britain and Libya.
It looks to me as though Jack "Man of" straw has got the yellow streak Brown in his sights and is hunting him down. There can be no other reason for suddenly confirming to the rest of us what a liar we have as PM.
Gordon MacYellow will not be too happy about Jack spilling his guts all over the floor about this shameful little episode!
Liebore lack morals and are duplicitous in lying to the UK public over this and many more incidents. Lied on Iraq, lied on the economy are just two examples. Liebore will keep on lying because that is all they do.

I have just watched the two soldiers returned today, and the parade through Wootton Bassett. At the same time Mr yellow streak Brown stood making his speech about Afghanistan and all the equipment he has and is sending .Well for me it isn't coming across for us to stay Mr yellow streak Brown, its as usual all you you you. You can speak as much as you like; please let the Afghans sort themselves out; we can't build a country we haven't the money for one thing or the troops.
Just like Vietnam, Mr yellow streak Brown is now trying the Nixon plan to pull out and save his political skin, but the fact remains that is now the second of Liebore wars lost! First we were run out of Basra and now its time to run from Afghanistan. I feel sorry for the poor soldiers just following orders, they now have to try and not be the last one to die in a needless war that the British people neither wanted or support. It did prove one thing though, that our so called European "partners" are total cowards when it came to time to support the British Army, so much for the EU.
Mr yellow streak Brown what a pathetic idiot you are. What knowledge have you of service life and armed combat? I bet the only service he was ever in was probably the Boy Scouts! He couldn't run a piss up in a brewery.
He is beginning to sound more and more like Adolf Hitler who also was a barm pot when he comes out with rhetoric of winning the war. Please grow up and come out of cloud cuckoo land. No nation on earth has ever beaten the Afghans on their own ground and certainly in our life time no one ever will.
Remember, Hitler telling Von Paulus in 1942 to fight to the last man at Stalingrad, whilst he, Hitler, was 60 feet underground and safe from bombings of all kind. That brilliant piece of leadership cost the Germans and Russians almost 740,000 troops, either killed, badly wounded or taken prisoner never to be seen again. Hitler couldn't careless about throwing young lives away just like you Mr yellow streak Brown.

Brussels has developed an identity on the world stage in its own right. The EU now has a budget of €3.9 billion (£3.4 billion) a year to be spent on its international affairs programme, called the External Relations programme. This is distinct from its international development budget.

It spends another €28 million (£25 million) (excluding actual civil service wages) on having a Common Foreign and Security Policy supremo.

EU embassies already exist in name; their property portfolio outside of the EU comes to €63 million (£55 million)

Staff enjoy considerable remuneration. Already-generous wages can include additional weighting, up to 45% above those paid to their colleagues back in Brussels. This would work out pre-tax as up to €278,000 (£244,000) annually..

On top of their salaries, EU diplomats enjoy such perks as adoption grants, expat allowances, entertainment allowances and own-car grants if they don’t get a chauffeur.

Mr dumbledorf Darling, please stop pretending you know the first thing about matters financial or fiscal (and tell your yellow streak boss, when in a hole, stop digging) - the first thing one does, if heavily in debt, is reduce spending. Which, if you'll notice, most of us have had to do.
We've had socialism for the rich, socialism for the city, socialism for the banks, now dumbledorf Darling wants the world to extend socialism to the British Economy. Socialism was supposed to be a redirection of wealth, not a way of life.
He put us into this mess by encouraging excessive spending, he has made things worse by excessive spending, and now he wants everyone else to do the same.
Our system relies on credit and it also relies on not letting credit get out of control. We're all credit junkies, and dumbledorf Darling is advocating hot fixes instead of rehab.
Personally, the UK economy is held together with I.O.U's galore. Money lending has become a way of life, or more to the point away of destroying life.
Quite elegant, the way that globalisation, has raided our economy and made total charlies of us all.................................Now we have to rely on the "whoever".
I always look for a silver lining, a little glimmer of hope on the horizon but the only one I can find is the thought that once these incompetents are ousted from power they will never regain it in my lifetime. For God's sake please go!

What worries me is that some stupid people may believe yellow streak Brown's nonsensical claims and vote him in at the next election.

Yellow streak Brown unveiled plans yesterday to curb youth unemployment by creating 85,000 jobs and training places.
The yellow streak Prime Minister said more than 150 firms, including Royal Mail, Microsoft, Centrica and Phones4U, will provide apprenticeships and training.
But the proposals were quickly condemned as a sham after it was revealed that 36,000 people already employed by Morrison's were included in the figures.
Another stupid statement by yellow streak Brown, he goes from bad to worse.
And here's me thinking that they were only telling us the other day that we would have to work until we're 70. So they don't care about everyone else who isn't in this age group? Typical cherry picking of a certain age group to help and never mind fairness.
The real problem isn't young people not getting jobs - it's that there aren't enough jobs so the inexperienced aren't getting a look in. Try fixing the economy and putting small business tax back down to where it was and you'll do more good.
I note who the employers include:
Royal Mail (Propped up by taxpayer)
Supermarkets (Big financial concerns with a lot of influence on Government already, likely to get even bigger for helping yellow streak Gordy out)
Centrica (Will Ofgem be too hard on their pricing policies now?)
Pfizer (NHS contracts)
Microsoft (Again potential IT supply to public sector)
I have said it before until we have a return of manufacturing to this country the younger generation will continue to be unemployed. Manufacturing would find a place for everyone, from the brightest to people who could not even read or write but where not afraid of hard work. Manufacturing will be the saviour of this country not the service industry,which as we have seen is not to be trusted just like liebore.
Manufacturing is where real wages are earned not the mickey mouse wages which is the minimum wage. How the hell are you suppose to raise a family or pay a mortgage on less than 6 pounds an hour? If a job has to be subsidised with benefits it's not a real job.

Does anybody still believe a word yellow streak Brown says?

Britain's special relationship with the U.S. appeared to be in tatters today as the controversy over the release of the Lockerbie bomber descended into a transatlantic row.
Today in Birmingham yellow streak Gordon Brown tried to quell claims of 'double dealing' by categorically denying there had been any sort of conspiracy with Libya over the fate of Abdelbaset Al Megrahi.
The whole sorry episode stinks of double dealing. We have elected a bunch of people who have no moral fibre, and are seemingly only interested in self gain.
Instead of dealing with the needs of their electorate, these so called "servants of the people" are ignoring the anger and resentment they have caused. The citizens of this country deserve better, and no doubt will desert the major parties in droves at the next election.
The Justice Minister released Ronnie Biggs on compassionate grounds just days before Megrahi. An unexpected change of policy, no doubt to pave the way for a further compassionate release.
This, in my view, implicates Straw in the whole murky business.
This government are just not bright enough to get away with deceit, lies etc If they had come clean, faced the music, toughed it out claiming it was in Britain's best interest then they may have earned some respect.
"The war on terror"so that's the convicted IRA and Lockerbie terrorists all released along with the Afghan / Stansted hijackers, what a tough nation Britain has become under Liebore, the terrorist community must be quaking in their boots.
