Labour's manic obsession with quotas, targets and 'positive discrimination' is exactly that - discrimination.

Youngsters from poor backgrounds will be helped to break into lucrative professions under measures to be announced by Lady snake Mandelson’s department. These measures are intended to show voters that Labour is a party that helps to nurture social aspiration.
Like for example Speaker Martin (Labour) who was forced to resign for being the worst Speaker in 400 years and then given a Knighthood for this. Is this what you mean by aspiration!

Labour's manic obsession with quotas, targets and 'positive discrimination' is exactly that - discrimination.
Stop this social engineering and micro-managing of people's lives, thereby creating droves of monitors, coordinators and tick box, clipboard carriers. Labour help poor people? They couldn't help themselves let alone others.
They've been running this country for 13 years during which time the gap between the rich and poor has widened, we have 1 million 16/24 year olds without jobs, the lowest paid are taxed at the highest rate and now, just as the election looms, they expect us to believe they've suddenly found a new way forward. The hypocrisy of these people is beyond measure, particularly Balls; talking of the Conservative plans on their marriage tax proposals as 'social engineering'. What have Labour been doing for the last 13 years, playing hopscotch!
Mr Balls stop interfering in the education of our children and let them be taught properly and then they might have a chance in life. And tell you what yellow streak Brown, let's just have a meritocracy. If you DESERVE it, you get it, instead of trying to falsely manipulate everything. Haven't you noticed yet?...it doesn't work.

  1. No kind of descrimination can ever be described as positive - except in the topsy-turvy world of lying Labour!
