The cure is working says dumbledorf Darling!

In an article for the Guardian dumbledorf Darling our bankrupt chancellor has written a lot of garbage such as: My priorities are clear: keeping people in work, getting credit flowing and getting public spending on to a sustainable footing in the medium term. In the past year we have committed an extra £5bn to ensure that we don't leave people to languish on the dole. And in the run-up to the pre-budget report I will consider further measures. And just like households, our country must continue to live within its means. Well, dumbledorf Darling, you and your boss were mostly responsible for the mess in the first place. It's no good trying to say what a good job you did, when you know that we aren't out of this yet, not by a long way.
The problem you have is trying to convince an electorate you and yellow streak Brown have almost single handed saved the world economy from collapse, when the electorate believes you have utterly wasted a golden opportunity, spent billions beyond your resources, encouraged others to do the same, failed in the most basic duties of fiscal prudence and responsible regulation, and will now have to spend the next 30 or so years simply paying off your debts.
Socialism for the rich and free market competition for the poor is what yellow streak Brown and his cronies stand for. Bliar involved Britain in two invasions, and was leader while the bankers and the rich milked the system, he left and yellow streak Brown and dumbledorf Darling bailing the bankers out making a few bleating noises about banking reform!
dumbledorf Darling you should know the system is broken and beyond repair, you might be able to keep it going but it is bound to collapse eventually, and delaying the inevitable may secure your political career but it will not be good for the people of Britain.
Accept and be honest that you are powerless to prevent the coming collapse, that you are only interested in short term political gain for yourself and your party, the only faction you care about is the 'money faction' who have the power to keep you in government or not. In the back rooms you will have to promise them more bailouts in return for their favorable coverage of you and your party.
Money that appears and disappears from nowhere, when it is in the billions within micro seconds, is 'funny money'. And once this 'funny money' becomes the life blood of the system, it means we are doomed. No one is willing and able to stop the doomed train.

There is something not right here in yellow streak Brownville country!

There are a lot more people in the UK than 61 million! Research in 2008 the population for 2006 was 63 million according to the national statistics office; 2 million net emigration, I don't think so.
What we need is a rigorous census that counts everybody.
The Government exhorts us all to to recycle and conserve resources, but shows that it is not really serious by allowing continued mass immigration to boost our population. What is the point of us all striving to recycle and ease the pressure on landfill sites when any improvements we make are immediately negated by mass immigration. Similarly we have to build an extra power station every year with a consequent impact on CO2 emissions. How can the NHS, energy industries or water providers possibly plan ahead when anything they devise is immediately rendered insufficient by immigration. I stopped taking notice of Government pronouncements on the environment years ago - they are just empty words. Human beings are consumers and waste producers, so the best news for the environment would be a steady or falling population: Increasing our population year on year is environmental lunacy.
The population increase must surely be attributable to the "child tax credit", family allowance and other generous benefits Liebore have decided to bestow upon the ever growing sector of society which has decided to accept yellow streak Brown's invitation to forget about working and become full-time parasites. Phil Woolas stated that "The British people can be confident that immigration is under control." Well, that must rank as one of the biggest, if not the biggest lie, to spew out from this Liebore Government of incompetents, in the last 12 years.

‘We Are Fed Up’ and going home states American expatriates in Britain.

Andrew Wesbecher moved to London from New York in 2006 to sell software to banks and hedge funds. This month he joined the exodus of American expatriates fleeing high taxes and the city’s shrinking financial industry.
The number of U.S. citizens in Britain fell 3.8 percent to 126,000 in the 12 months through September, according to the Office for National Statistics. The trend probably continued this year, with the Confederation of British Industry estimating the U.K. financial industry will lose about 45,000 jobs in the first nine months of 2009, or 4.3 percent of the total.
Americans are heading home as Britain plans a 50 percent tax rate for those who earn more than 150,000 pounds ($248,000) a year and employers cut benefits for workers living abroad, reducing the allure of London. That comes a year after the U.K. said foreigners who have lived in the country for more than seven years must pay 30,000 pounds annually or give up the special status that shields overseas income from British taxes.
The worst recession since World War II has left U.K. residents facing tax increases and spending cuts after Britain’s monthly budget deficit ballooned to a record 8 billion pounds in July. In addition, some employers are reducing benefits such as tax equalization, school tuition for children and cost-of-living allowances that supplement expatriate salaries.
Huddling under an umbrella during a July downpour, Wesbecher said he was no longer willing to put up with the frustrations of life in London after his commissions dropped and Palo Alto, California-based Tibco eliminated his expatriate benefits, cutting his take-home pay by 75 percent.“This is what passes for summer in London,” he said, sipping an iced latte in the city’s main financial district. “The quality of life is a lot harder. Things are more expensive and the houses are smaller. Even public transport is cramped. A New York subway car is like real estate in comparison.”
The economic picture is also gloomier in Britain. The U.K. economy shrank 5.6 percent in the year through June, compared with 3.9 percent in the U.S. London’s financial industry lost 29,371 jobs, or 8.3 percent of the total, last year, according to the Centre for Economic and Business Research. Financial companies in New York cut 20,200 jobs, or 4.3 percent, data from the state Labor Department show.

Considering you wrote a book on courage Brown, you seem to know very little about it.

Facing reporters after talks at Downing Street with Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Mr Brown insisted the UK Government had no role in the decision to free Megrahi. Asked whether he thought it was the right decision, Mr Brown simply said his first thoughts had been with the Lockerbie families.
'I was both angry and I was repulsed by the reception that a convicted bomber guilty of a huge terrorist crime received on his return to Libya,' he said.
The PM said that when he met Libya's Colonel Gaddafi earlier this year he told him the bomber's release was not his decision.
He also dismissed suggestions that the row would damage Britain's relationship with the U.S. and other allies.

It's almost amusing to see how our Great yellow streak Leader kept his head down for a few days, waited to see how the wind was blowing, and then popped up to deliver the usual waffler soundbites he thought we wanted to hear.
Stand up and support or decry Scotland's decision Brown. A true leader would have been in control. You are most seriously not.

From kamikaze to Yellow streak Brown

While yellow streak Gordon has decided not to comment on this, the Libyans seem quite happy to comment on his behalf:
Muammar al-Gaddafi, Dictator of Libya thanks "my friend yellow streak Brown, the Prime Minister of Britain, his government, the Queen of Britain, Elizabeth, and Prince Andrew, who all contributed to encouraging the Scottish government to take this historic and courageous decision, despite the obstacles" & his son "would also like to personally thank our friends in the British government who played an important role in reaching this day".

It's another sad day for British politics when our yellow streak Prime Minister allows another government to translate his views to the world.
He isn't commenting because he is a coward and terrified to say the wrong thing. He is an invertebrate with no backbone and what a pathetic excuse for a PM yellow streak Brown is.
For somebody who is supposed to be one of the world's leaders he is remarkably inept at everything.
To sensitive for comment? That really is pathetic. Step aside yellow streak Brown and give us an election.
This country needs a strong leader, a half whit Muppet who can't think of anything to say is just an embarrassment to the nation.
Now that England have won the ashes I trust that we can be spared the grotesque and vomit inducing spectacle of yellow streak Brown bathing in the reflected glory of the England team in some contrived photo-op.

Congratulations to the English team!

Please don't call them 'Heroes' as this demeans our soldiers who go beyond the call of duty and merit the term.

Well done to the English team who all played brilliantly and did a good job.
It was a very exciting series in the end, shame its all over but pleased we won and no surprise that Freddie had to make his mark in such a vital day with the wonderful run-out of Ponting to turn the game. Can't wait for the next Ashes battle.
I hope the "powers that be" don't decide to give this lot MBEs like they did when we briefly won them back, and on this occasion will wait to see if we can retain the Ashes when they are up for grabs in Australia in eighteen months time.

Savage screws Jackboot Jacqui with recent letter.

DEFAMATION LETTER TO JACQUI SMITH

Rt Hon Jacqui Smith MP
c/o The House of Commons
Westminster, London

Dear Madam

Dr Michael Savage - Defamation complaint

1. We act for Dr Michael Savage. We wrote to you on 15 May 2009 in your capacity (as you were then) as the Home Secretary. For convenience, we enclose a copy of that letter. We now write to you in your personal capacity.

3. We write in respect of the press release ("the Press Release") issued by the Home Office (including on its website) on 5 May 2009 in which it was stated that our client has been banned from entry to the United Kingdom. In a letter from the Treasury Solicitor, acting for the Home Office, to this firm dated 29 May 2009 (when you were still Home Secretary and presumably approved the letter), a copy of which we also enclose, it was stated that you "personally" made the decision to publish the Press Release. Accordingly, our client will hold you personally (as well as the Home Office) responsible in law for its contents.

4. The Press Release contained statements that are false and defamatory of our client. Please treat this letter as a letter of claim under the Pre-action Protocol for defamation. We attach for your convenience a copy of the Press Release.

These three are on a par with the Marx brothers.

Mr Miliband strongly rejected the suggestion that the Government had wanted Megrahi to be released so that commercial relations with Libya could be improved.
He said: "I really reject that entirely; that is a SLUR both on myself and the Government".

But on Libyan TV their was Colonel Gaddafi's son saying that Mr Blair raised the Megrahi case repeatedly to smooth the way for British firms to tap into Libya's energy reserves. He told the Al Mutawassit channel: 'In all commercial contracts, for oil and gas with Britain, (Megrahi) was always on the negotiating table.' Mr Gaddafi, who discussed the case with Business Secretary Lord Mandelson when they met in Corfu just weeks ago, hailed Megrahi's the release as a 'victory' for all Libyans.
Now a definition of a SLUR is:
To talk about disparagingly or insultingly.
To pass over lightly or carelessly; treat without due consideration.
Just what this "government is" and nu liebore have been doing to the nation since they came on the scene.
The Prime Minister wrote to the Libyan leader asking him to 'act with sensitivity'. Instead, Megrahi was given a hero's welcome in scenes described by President Barack Obama as 'highly objectionable'. Does kamikaze Brown really think that anyone takes any notice of him now! Everyone knows his 'tough' on terrorism' stance was just meaningless words and to prove it he has been party to setting free the perpetrator of the worst act of terrorism in the UK.
Whilst I have compassion for the man who is dying, he is nevertheless is a murderer of 270 times over. What a trio we have in Bliar, Brown and Mandelson - no doubt seeing themselves as the 'three wise men', whilst I view them as a comedy act on a par with the Marx Brothers.

Welcome to barmy /soft-touch Britain!

Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, wearing white , walks on to his airplane at Glasgow International Airport

This is another example of a very dodgy deal by the British liebore government. It is so obvious that this release has been exchanged for an oil deal with Libya - Tony Bliar was there setting it up and BP got the contract.
I don't particularly care which countries the Scottish government is pleasing or displeasing over this issue.
This man should remain in a Scottish prison until he dies.
I believe that if a Scottish court found that there was enough evidence to convict this guy for the crime - beyond reasonable doubt - whether he planted the bomb or was a co-conspirator in any way, shape or form, then he should not be released and should be left to die behind bars. The crime he was found guilty of committing was so heinous that to release him makes a mockery of the deaths of the victims. From now on if you bomb or hi-jack planes or any other serious crimes, expect to be treated with kid gloves!
He will be treated as a hero in his homeland. No justice for the victims and their families. Life should mean life not even 27 years would have been enough ! He actually only got a year for every person he killed let alone all the people who lives have been affected since by his actions.
Just remind me again - HOW MANY children or relatives of MacAskill or any UK politician were on that flight? Precisely, none and people wonder why the US always press for extradition of our criminals rather than leave "British Justice" to deal with it.

"Labour just isn't working"

Time for a new slogan .... 'Labour isn't working - and neither are 1 million young people.'

The number of young people out of work, education or training has soared to a record level of almost one million, figures revealed yesterday. dumbledorf Alistair Darling admitted the country risked a ‘lost generation’ as the number of so called Neets rose to nearly 959,000. ("Not in Employment, Education or Training")
The labour party is supposed to be the party of the working classes but it seems to be the party of the unemployed masses, the youngsters of today with no qualifications face a bleak future.Until manufacturing returns to this country we can expect to see unemployment figures for the young soar.
This has been coming for 30 years. The destruction of manufacturing, loss of apprenticeships, greedy short sighted business leaders and inept Government who've only looked at the short term. Hence the loss of skills, meaning importing those skills, the outsourcing of jobs and why we now have a massive and widening gap between the rich and the poor.
Don't expect the Politicians to help, as they're on the gravy train too. How many when leaving Government are found to have had Directorships with the self same companies that have won Government orders and are manufacturing offshore? Yet the indigenous population that have lost their jobs which paid a living salary are classed as scroungers when they can't find a job that will provide a living salary.

So why pick on the mediocre NHS? Go for the real good ones instead.

I don't really understand what all the fuss about the NHS is about.
Why pick the British healthcare system? There are healthcare systems on the continent which have a lot more to offer to their contributors (i.e. the general public), such as the German one. OK, it has been slimmed down a bit since the mid 90's, but there are still no emergency call-in fees for dentists, the maximum contribution to jacket crowns and similar is 60% of the cost, there are no 3-6 (or more) month long waiting lists to see a specialist such as a gyneacologist, dermatologist, or ENT (one just makes an appointment oneself, doesn't need a GP to refer and all usually is done and dealt with within 3 weeks), one day a week most GP practices do after-hours, and there is always one GP available for 24-hr emergency in a rotational system. And last but no way least none of this breathtaking bureaucracy when it comes to prescribing meds - where the bucket is passed from one to the other.
The NHS was a great idea in theory 60 years ago.
Now we have a top heavy organisation full of quangos, managers, opinions and not enough nurses and doctors. The NHS will always be a political football played by Liebore and the opposition, after all what else is there for them to do within the EU?
If money was no object, then a private system is much preferable - given the way that Burnham and his mates have totally destroyed it.
But then, what would you expect from a silver-spooned socialist from Liverpool who supports Everton!
Daniel Hannans video interview is excellent, pointed and accurate.
Whatever people might have once have been reasonably happy in believing of the NHS, things are significantly different now. We have NICE (who lives and who dies)
Obama wants that too.
Obama requires states to cede sovereignty if the Bill sees daylight (hope not)
The EU wants all the sovereignty ceded too.
See where this is leading?
NAFTA wants the same socialist(communist, stalinistic) dream of regionalisation.
The NHS is not perfect but nothing ever will be. You can always improve things. But at least if in my time of need, I know I can get the treatment I need on the NHS and not worry about whether have to afford to pay a huge bill afterwards.
Health care should be about helping people and not about lining corporations pockets; but at the end of the day we should all take more RESPONSIBILITY for the state of our health, which in itself would minimise the need for any health ('sickness') care system. This means no smoking, social drinking only and an improved diet, as well as moderate exercise.

No wonder Gordon Brown is hiding in the Lake District. After 12 years as our "best ever Chancellor" (joke) he is up to his neck in embarrassment.

Gordon the Moron said spending was the only way out and as expected he's dug us in even deeper.

Germany & France, the two countries that did not want to spend there way out of a recession are now pulling themselves out of it. This cannot be right , my kamikaze Prime minister told me that the UK was best placed to face the downturn and that he would lead the world out of recession. He surely wasn't lying to me was he? Does that mean all the money he has spent on Fiscal Stimulus/ VAT reduction was wasted.

I need re-assurance that the Great kamikaze Leader is the Great Leader and not just a financially incompetent prat who has bankrupted the country for the sake of trying to save his political neck. All help in clarifying this matter would be gratefully received.
So much for the lies and political spin from kamikaze Brown, dumbledorf Darling, slimy Mandelson and the rest. We now have not only a monetary crisis, but a social one as well as a result of the high level of unemployment. When are we going to see those directly responsible for the current misery, i.e. the banking directors, brought before the courts to answer charges of dereliction of duty under the Companies Act for failing to carry out due diligence and adequate risk assessments of their activities. These people are enjoying large salaries, bonuses and pensions while millions suffer. I suspect that the Government and the FSA will ensure that their banking chums are protected and never called to account.
Still there will be a general election soon, anyone stupid enough to vote Labour in this one should be institutionalised!

Yawn, another bore-fest from Mr Multiple Resignations in Disgrace.

2nd class Britain with Labour in charge.

Mandelson is a master of propaganda with his barrage of mis-information, part of the vocal Liebore minority who know they can impose their views on a complacent electorate.

He has written an article in tomorrows Guardian which proves to me that 'Liebore' are really on the last dregs and the sooner they go the better or else we will finish up 3rd class.
The Tories aren't the party that drove the country to virtual bankruptcy, that was Liebore. No more boom and bust, indeed. Liebore ministers, kamikaze Brown apart, continually acknowledge there will need to be cuts without actually having the bravery to actually confirm it.
What else has the un-elected Mandelson done recently - oh yes, bottle it with Post Office reform, and suppress the spending review as the figures are so utterly horrendous.
Mandelson is also part of the fear factory which allows new laws which restrict our freedoms to be passed with out an outcry, which allows free speech to become threatened and monitored by a growing government data bases - PC censorship with Europol – we can no longer admit that we love our country because it isn't ours anymore, it belongs to a collective Europe.
Mandelson is a snake and nobody cares or believes a word he says...Except the Guardian who would champion a monkey or a snake in this case if it wore a red rosette.

Who would have thought we would see the words 'Mandelson' 'SFO' and 'cover up' in the same sentence.

Peter Mandelson has asked government lawyers to begin compiling the evidence needed to bar some of the key players behind the Rover affair from corporate life.
The businessmen who ran the consortium, known as the Phoenix Four, are thought to have received about £40m in pay and pensions contributions during their time running MG Rover. They were quick to respond to the SFO's decision today by pointing the finger at ministers. They claim the government failed to support a rescue deal that they claim could have saved Rover from collapse in 2005.
Their comments clearly angered Mandelson, who said: "I sense rather a lot of buck-passing on the part of the Phoenix Four. I think what people will be asking themselves now is whether they as individuals are fit to conduct themselves as directors of companies in the future."The SFO's decision means that the government's long-awaited report will finally be published on 11 September.
Is it any wonder that MG-Rover collapsed when the company was forced to employ 1,500 too many workers?
It should also be noted that the Government gave MG-Rover absolutely no financial support whatsoever, the DTI (Patricia Hewitt) at the time said "we have better things to do with our money"
Probably Mandelson will be looking for a Good Day To Publish Bad News.
Interesting, the guy who behaved worse than being economical with the truth when it came to his mortgages and still managed to re-enter government, now he asks lawyers if it is possible to ban from boardrooms persons the SFO doesn't want to investigate! No double standards at all, surely!
The SFO is a political puppet that has been shown during the BAE investigation to be a slave to the political pay masters. They are a joke. Real fraud is going on all around them just look at the Banking sector and yet they take no action until the newspapers make it front page news. This isn't a democracy its government by headlines and spin.

Just put it on expenses Hazel it's no big deal!

Funny how everyone else has their crime taken over the phone when their vehicles get damaged but the 'lovely' Hazel gets a visit from cops in police 'vans'
What is it Orwell said....'we are all equal but some are more equal than others'
Nice to see Greater Manchester Police with it's 2 tier policing policy. If you're a normal person you do it on the phone but if you're 'famous' you get them turning up in droves.
And is her vehicle not within 15 yards of a junction thus contravening the highway code; it just goes to prove the old saying of one rule for the rich and another for the poor!
What is worse causing a few hundred pounds worth of damage to a car belonging to a woman that scammed the people she was meant to be helping or using a position of power to 'steal' (as that is what it is called for normal people), thousands of pounds from the tax payer?
She abused the trust of the people she was paid to serve, effectively sticking a rich manicured finger up at thousands of struggling single mothers and hard working families. She's greedy and secretly shared the ethos that most MP's no doubt subscribe to, 'that they are part of the elite and that normal rules don't apply to them, screw the average voter, if I can't use this power to make money then why have I worked so hard?'
This obnoxious woman is totally deluded if she thinks she has not been targeted and the residents have forgotten what she is. The sooner the voters knock that slimy smirk of her face for good the better it will be for us all.

kamikaze Gordon's bank merger produces £4bn loss.

Yesterday the Gordon Brown orchestrated merger of Lloyds and HBOS today saw the part-state-owned bank report a £4 billion loss in six months. But before this we had the Newcastle-based bank, which owes the taxpayer £10.9 billion, has a rate of arrears of 3.93% of its mortgage book – or 22,141 customers – compared with an industry average of 2.39%.It has repossessed nearly four times more homes than the industry average although the 2,522 homes it has in possession is down from the peak of 4,000 and fewer than the 3,620 at the end of last year.
While Barclays and HSBC continue to coin it, the basket cases we bailed out last year sink further into the shit.
Call me a normal guy 'with clean spectacles' and without any baggage.
Forget the Tory Party. They haven't been in power for a generation and when they went to war, they did it legitimately and knew how to fight and win within a couple of months.
The economy, the war, the banking crisis has been created by Liebore and kamikaze Gordon Brown is the godfather of this entire episode in our history.
kamikaze Brown has always wanted to give himself a legacy, what prime minister doesn't ... but the way history will treat them is very simple: Tony Bliar sent us to war and presided over a 'spendthrift' chancellor kamikaze Gordon who spent money like water. He treated a bubble like a normal day and spent, spent, spent, sold our gold reserves and 'stuffed' the country good and proper.
kamikaze Gordon then became the first UN-elected Prime Minister for a very long time and continued his 'spendthrift ways'. Hell, he even presided over the wasteful death of too many livestock, supports the continued abuse of the immigration system, continues to allow British Troops to remain without the proper equipment and due to his over opinionated friends they can't even fight a war without being subject to civilian lawyers. And then kamikaze Gordon topped it off by wasting money on doctors wages, selling off our gold, adding more to the human rights charter, creating a world of red tape and legislation and supporting criminal behaviour, he removed the expression UK and replaced it with British. And then came the Northern Rock saga and his own financial legacy he gave us the icing on the cake with the LloydsHBOS merger which cost us £4bn. And then we tomorrow RBS and guess what he's away on his hols!
Gordon Brown should realise that money is a 'privilege and not a right'. Stop abusing the fractional reserve system and if you want to play games - play monopoly instead.
Right now, I am a sickened pensioner looking for a new way forward; and I'm thoroughly open to offers from all sides of the political spectrum, providing its not Labour!
Help ... I'm a UK tax payer, get me out of here...

Happy birthday President Obama.

WND Editor Joseph Farah has produced the first major DVD documentary on the critical issues surrounding the constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama to serve as president – but it wasn't easy.

In fact, during the course of shooting and editing "A Question of Eligibility," the award-winning film making team, including veterans of many controversial movie projects, made the unusual request to keep its identity secret for fear of retribution from the administration.

"That's how hot this topic is," said Farah. "That's how hot this movie is."

California attorney Orly Taitz, who has filed a number of lawsuits demanding proof of Barack Obama's eligibility to serve as president, has released a copy of what purports to be a Kenyan certification of birth and has filed a new motion in U.S. District Court for its authentication.

Last week, a counterfeit document purporting to be Obama's Kenyan birth certificate made the rounds of the Internet, but was quickly determined to be fraudulent. The new document released by Taitz bears none of the obvious traits of a hoax.

Taitz told WND that the document came from an anonymous source who doesn't want his name known because "he's afraid for his life."

Taitz's motion, filed yesterday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, requests the purported evidence of Obama's birth – both the alleged birth certificate and foreign records not yet obtained – be preserved from destruction, asks for permission to legally request documents from Kenya and seeks a subpoena for deposition from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"I filed the motion with the court asking for expedited discovery, which would allow me to start subpoenas and depositions even before Obama and the government responds," Taitz told WND. "I am asking the judge to give me the power to subpoena the documents from the Kenyan embassy and to require a deposition from Hillary Clinton so they will be forced to authenticate [the birth certificate].

"I'm forcing the issue, where Obama will have to respond," she said.

Mr President, where ever you were born please have a happy birthday.

Savage versus Jackboot Jacqui

Savaging Savage

Only Queen Elizabeth II can fix this.

Press reports that Britain is making nice with talk-radio host Michael Savage are greatly exaggerated. Some accounts insisted Mr. Savage was now welcome in Britain after being placed on an "undesirables" list of terrorists and criminals three months ago by then-Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, who accused him of "fomenting hate."

Not so.

Mr. Savage, whose nationally syndicated program is heard weekly by 10 million listeners, says he's still on the list. His lawsuit against Ms. Smith is still on. And he still pines for a proper meaculpa.

"I feared this. The Labor government will not yet admit they made a big mistake in listing me alongside actual murderers. Talk is not murder. Murdering a reputation, is that murder or defamation?" Mr. Savage tells me.

"They leave me no option except to pursue my defamation complaint against Jacqui Smith. In time, I will clear my name, receive an apology from the British government - or the Queen - deliver a speech before the British Parliament and present the British people the gift of freedom of speech, for which their forefathers died. By my example, they will see how far their own nation has fallen under the rule of these coelenterates" - jellyfish, Mr. Savage says.

For once I agree with John Prescott.

Prescott rebukes Harman for saying woman should always have one of top two jobs in Labour Party

Please, will Harman's constituents get rid of her. Every time she opens her mouth, it is to launch an attack on men whether directly, or through discriminatory laws sugar coated as "equality laws".

I support the best people for the job, regardless of gender. Men and women can be equally corrupt and incompetent.

Tax payers alliance report

There may be trouble ahead...

Everyone knows that the public finances are in a mess. Unfortunately, it looks like the Government still aren’t facing up to the scale of the crisis. At the time of the Budget, many senior economists criticised their forecasts for being decidedly optimistic. Now new research by the Centre for Economics and Business Research for the TaxPayers’ Alliance shows what could happen if things don’t work out that well: £2.1-£2.3 trillion in debt by 2017/18 and 3.2-3.8 million unemployed by 2011.

At the same time, the research shows that big tax hikes would have disastrous results for the economy. The 50p tax rate alone will reduce economic growth by 0.4 per cent of GDP, increase public borrowing by £1.8 billion a year and increase the base unemployment rate by 0.8 per cent by 2020/21. The answer has to be spending cuts. Politicians need to do more to set out plans that could seriously bring down spending. Even if the Treasury’s numbers are right the public finances are in a crisis, but if they’re wrong then they could be sleepwalking into another catastrophe. To read the full report, please click here.
